Fish curry in banana leaves
Ingredient
5-6 prepare banana cups
1 lb. With meat fish (mahi mai or any white meat fish)
½ ground fish
1-2 Tbsp. Red chili paste
1 egg
1 ½ c. coconut milk
1 Tbsp. Fish sauce
1 Tsp. Sugar
1 Tbsp. Kaffir lime leaves fine chopped
2 finely slice red chilli
1 cup sweet basil leaves
How to..
- Stir ½ c. of coconut milk with the red chili paste add ½ c. more them mix well keep add more coconut milk until coconut milk done. Add fish, ground fish, egg and fish sauce sugar. Mix it very well and keep stir until feel thick.
- Fill the bottom of the banana cup with sweet basil then add the fish mix about 2/3 full put in the steamer cook for 12 min. then add the coconut cream ( came from the top part of coconut milk can) slice chili and chopped kaffir lime cover and cook 2-3 min. more.
- Keep doing until finish the batter.
- Serves with rice.
